Ballarat Tourist Association |
Tourism in Ballarat is one of its most important industries. The support and growth of tourism is vital to the prosperity of every business in Ballarat. When our tourism industry does well, we all benefit.
The Ballarat Tourist Association (BTA) is an industry based, non-profit, membership organisation. Our membership encompasses all sectors of the tourism industry including; attractions, accommodation, dining, entertainment, retail, transport/touring, events and training. Importantly, we are recognised within Ballarat as the "voice of the tourism industry".
The BTA provides a focus for the tourism industry and adds value to our membership in the following ways:
- Access to a broad range of members' benefits exclusive to the BTA.
- Receive information vital to their businesses.
- Opportunities to express views, ask questions and receive feedback.
- Peer networking and building industry relationships.
- Creating pathways for the tourism industry to embrace and support the Ballarat Community through sponsorships and fund raising events.
The aims of the BTA are to increase communication at all levels of the industry, represent the industry throughout Ballarat and beyond, foster unity within the industry and to offer events which brings the industry together. Tourism plays a vital role in Ballarat and the BTA actively works to enhance the tourism industry at every opportunity.
